Lacrosse Earns Four Seed In The Midwest Regional

ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's lacrosse team punched their ticket to another NCAA Tournament, earning the four seed in the Midwest Regional. The Lakers will take on Ashland in the opening round on Thursday at 4:00, played at the University of Indianapolis.
 
This is the fifth consecutive season that the Lakers have earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament, and the sixth time overall. They have a record of 4-5 in the tournament, winning the region during the 2023 season.
 
UIndy earned the one seed in the region, hosting one half of the bracket, while Maryville hosts the other half as the two seed. GVSU and Ashland are the 4-5 matchup, played at UIndy, with the 3-6 matchup pitting Regis and Rockhurst against each other. Round one will be played on Thursday, with round two taking place on Saturday. The two winning teams from each site will play each other at the top remaining seed the following weekend.
