The 2026 GVSU Football Alumni Golf outing kicked off an alumni weekend Friday (July 17) morning at The Meadows Golf Course on the campus of Grand Valley State. An overflow, sold out outing featured alums from every year of the GVSU football program. National Championship coaches Brian Kelly and Chuck Martin, along with 10 GVSU Athletics Hall of Fame players also were in attendance.
#6-ranked Grand Valley State will open the 2026 season on Thursday, August 27 at Charleston. The Lakers will open the five-game, home slate on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. versus West Texas A&M.
