Grand Valley State freshman pitcher
Jackson Kees was named the GLIAC Pitcher of the Week it was announced by the league office. Kees improved to 3-0 on the year with an impressive outing versus Hillsdale Sunday. Kees retired the first nine hitters he faced and allowed just two hits in six innings pitched as he was the starting pitcher in a 3-0 victory that was a combined shutout. In addition, he struck out two and did not allow a base runner past first base. Kees faced no more than four batters in any of his six innings pitched. He has struck out 13 and allowed just 10 hits in his 16.0 innings pitched.
