Five Of Eight Lakers Earn Seeds At The NCAA National Championship

ALLENDALE, Mich. - For the first time in history, the NCAA will host the Women's Wrestling National Championship at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.. Eight Lakers will represent Grand Valley State when competition begins March 6 at 11:00 a.m. EST and continues March 7, with sessions starting at 11:00 a.m. EST and the championship round set for 8:00 p.m. EST.

Rayana Sahagun (103, No. 4 seed), Sage Mortimer (110, No. 2 seed), Kiely Tabaldo (117), Aspen Blasko (124, No. 5 seed), Katie Lange (138, No. 1 seed), Margaret Buurma (145), Noelle Gaffney (160), and Sabrina Nauss (207, No. 2 seed) will all compete for the Lakers on the national stage.
