TIFFIN, Ohio — After Day 2 of the NCAA Regional Championship, the Grand Valley State Lakers finished runner-up to North Central with 173 points over the two-day competition. Four regional champions were crowned, and eight of the 10 Lakers qualified for the NCAA National Championship.

Rayana Sahagun became the first NCAA National Championship qualifier in both NCAA and Grand Valley State history. Across all regions that began competition earlier in the day, Sahagun secured her qualifying victory at 11:03 a.m., with the next closest region finishing at 11:04 a.m.
