ALLENDALE, Mich. — The Grand Valley State Lakers will travel to Tiffin, Ohio, to compete in their second regional championship. This marks the first year the NCAA will host the women's wrestling regional and national championships.
Last year, the Lakers brought 15 wrestlers to regionals, which were covered by the NWCA. This year, the Grand Valley State women's wrestling team is only permitted to bring 10 wrestlers by the NCAA. Listed below are the Lakers who will be competing. At the Regional Championship in 2025, the Lakers brought up the runner-up trophy, only losing by .5 of a point. In their respective weight classes, five Lakers brought home the regional championship.
The following Lakers will compete at the 2026 Regionals:
