#12 Grand Valley State opened action at the 2026 NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa Friday with a 1-2 record. The Lakers, seeded sixth, opened with a 28-7 victory over Minnesota State, but then dropped a pair of duals by three points. #3 Parkside claimed an 18-15 decision over GVSU and Mary claimed a 23-20 win over the Lakers. GVSU will wrestle McKendree at 12 noon in consolation round action. 

Jack Parker went 3-0 at 125, including a 9-6 victory over #2 Shane Corrigan (Parkside)
Chris Donathan went 3-0 at 149, including a 4-1 win over #1 Jalen Spuhler (Parkside), a 4-2 win over #12 Walker Bents (MSU) and a 12-2 MD win over Kale Baumann (Mary)
#10 Brayden Mirjavadi went 3-0 at 197 with fall over Charles Severance (Mary) and a 15-2 victory over Grant Cook (MSU).
