#7 Grand Valley State will host Olivet University in a wrestling dual Thursday, December 17 at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. Action is set to begin at 7 p.m. Prior to the GVSU dual, the top-ranked Lowell Red Arrows will face Bay City John Glenn at 5 p.m.

Two GVSU grapplers captured individual titles at the 46^th Annual Midwest Classic last weeked. Josh Kenny claimed the title at 174 and moved to #1 in the latest Open Mat individual rankings, while Carter Blough claimed the championship at 285 and moved up to #2 in the Open Mat rankings. 

Four Lakers will see their first action of the season on the mat versus Olivet. Jack Parker (125), a transfer from Bellarmine, Chris Donathan (149), a returning national qualifier, Maclain Morency at 165 and returning All-American Wyatt Miller at 184. 
 
The 2001 Grand Valley State wrestling club National Champions will be honored following the fifth match of the GVSU – Olivet dual.
