#7 Grand Valley State claimed a 45-0 victory over Olivet Thursday (Dec. 18) before a crowd of 788 at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. GVSU is now 2-2 on the year and will next be in action at the National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa Jan. 9-10. 
 
The Lakers dominated from the opening whistle as Jack Parker (125) toed the line for the first time this season. Parker tallied a 17-2 first-period tech fall and was one of seven to record bonus point wins. Senior Chris Donathan (149) recorded a fall at 1:22 of the first stanza in his first match of the year, followed by Maclain Morency (157) who tallied a 15-0 tech fall in his first match of the year. Senior Wyatt Miller notched a 2-1 win at 184 to claim a win in his first action of the year. 
 
Jak Keller (133) claimed a 5-2 win and Collin Twigg (141) added a fall in 2:29 of the opening period. Caden Jacobs (165) notched a 9-1 major decision, Trammel Robinson (174) picked up an 8-4 win, Brayden Mirjavadi (197) tallied a 17-2 tech fall and Carter Blough (285) closed out the dual with a 17-1 tech fall win.
