ALLENDALE, MICH. – Grand Valley State senior women's lacrosse attacker Zoe Ziegler earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators First-Team Academic All-American team.
 
For the first time in her career, Ziegler earned IWLCA All-Region honors, getting a spot on the first team. She set career-highs in goals (42), assists (22), points (64), and groundballs (17). Selected to the GLIAC First-Team, Ziegler recorded nine hat tricks and five games with five or more points. Ziegler finished her Laker career with 122 points on 82 goals and 40 assists and was twice named All-GLIAC.
 
Ziegler graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA with her degree in biochemistry. The 2023 NCAA Elite 90 award, given to the player with the best GPA at the NCAA Championships. She was a three-time GLIAC Academic Excellence team member and earned one CSC Academic All-District honor.
