ALLENDALE, MICH. – Grand Valley State senior volleyball player,
Meghan O'Sullivan, has been named an Honorable Mention All-American by the AVCA, as announced by the organization earlier today. This is the first All-American selection of O'Sullivan's career.
Voted First-Team All-Midwest Region by the AVCA, O'Sullivan made it five straight seasons that a Laker has earned All-Region honors, and four straight seasons a Laker has been an All-American. O'Sullivan had a strong senior campaign for the Lakers, leading the team in points (346.5), kills (277), and service aces (41), while finishing second in assists (429). The First-Team All-GLIAC selection also added 204 digs and 55 blocks. Her six triple-doubles this season ranked second in the country. This is the first All-Region selection of O'Sullivan's career.
The senior wraps up her career at GVSU totaling 978 assists, 882 kills, 535 digs, 224 total blocks, and 81 service aces.
