18 GVSU Lakers Earn All-GLIAC Football Honors

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today that 18 Grand Valley State Lakers earned All-GLIAC football honors, including eight that earned All-GLIAC First-Team plaudits. Grand Valley State, which won its final three games of the 2025 campaign, finished the season 7-3 overall and second in the GLIAC with a 5-2 record. The 18 league honors ranked second among all GLIAC schools. The Lakers will open the 2026 campaign on Thursday, August 27 at Charleston (W.Va.).

Junior wide receivers Kellen Reed and Lynn Wyche-El, along with senior offensive tackle Brett Weaver earned All-GLIAC Offensive First-Team honors, while senior linebacker Anthony Cardamone, junior linebacker Jimmy Downs, senior punter Trace Hrgich, junior cornerback Jason Hardy and sophomore defensive end Khamani Potts earned First-Team All-GLIAC defensive plaudits. 

Senior running back Syone Usma-Harper, junior running back Paschal Jolman, junior tight end Evan Furtney, sophomore linebacker Torian Wyatt and sophomore defensive end Jibriel Conde were tabbed All-GLIAC second-team. Freshman QB Andrew Schuster, defensive linemen Ronald Jackson and Tyus Jackson, offensive lineman Joshua Martin and safety Quinn Wills  were All-GLIAC honorable mention honorees.
