GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Chimo Minguez and
Jorge Ruiz tallied a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.
Stephen Claassen and
Lawrence Ivanov claimed a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
In singles action,
Denys Zamaraiev claimed a 6-2, 5-7, 7-6 three-set thrilling victory at the top singles position.
Sean Miller tallied a 6-2 win at No. 2 singles after a withdrawal.
Victor Lopes rallied to record a 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 three-set victory at No. 3 singles.
Stephen Claassen posted a 6-2, 6-4 straight set win at No. 5 singles.
Ignasi Garros added a dominate 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
Chimo Minguez dropped a tough 5-7, 6-4, 4-6 three-set decision at No. 4 singles.
The Lakers will return to the courts for the beginning of their GLIAC schedule on Friday, March 22
nd when they travel to face Purdue Northwest. First serve is set for 11:00 AM in Hammond, Indiana.
