LENOIR CITY, TENN. – The GVSU men's golf team rounded out play at the Tennessee River Rumble this afternoon. The Lakers finished out the third round in a tie for 10
th-place.
Results
Host Lincoln Memorial surpassed North Georgia to take the tournament title, ending at even par. UNG took second at one over, followed by Union in third at nine over. Wingate finished fourth, carding a +13, with USC Aiken ending in fifth at +14. GVSU had a final round of 295 (+7) to end in a tie for 10
th with Lenoir Rhyne and Carson Newman.
Drew Coble finished in a tie for 8
th at even par. He shot a final round of 71 (-1), making four birdies.
Nick Krueger finished in a tie for 17
th at +3, as he carded a round of 74 (+2), sinking one birdie. After his round of even par,
Manuel Cue Vargas ended in a tie for 35
th at +6, carding three birdies today.
Charlie Cooley shot a final round of 78 (+6) to end in a tie for 74
th at fifteen over.
Bryce Wheeler ended in a tie for 92
nd with a final round of 79 (+7).
