GRAND HAVEN, MICH. – After day two of the Folds of Honor Collegiate the GVSU men's golf team maintained their placement at 13^th overall. Drew Coble continued to lead the Lakers, as he is in a tie for 25^th.

Host Michigan State shot a round of five under 279 to jump into the lead at two over par heading into tomorrow's final round. Arizona stayed in second, tied with South Carolina at five over. Rounding out the top five are Arkansas and Notre Dame at six over and ten over. GVSU is sitting in 13^th at +31.
 
Coble shot a round of 74 (+3) with three birdies and an eagle on his final hole of the day. He is now at +4 for the tournament. Charlie Cooley and Manuel Cue Vargas are both tied for 56^th at nine over. Cooley shot a 76 (+5) today with two birdies, with Vargas notched one birdie in his round of 76. Nick Krueger is right behind those two at +10 after his second round score of 76, as he sank two birdies. Bryce Wheeler is tied for 71^st after he carded a round of 83 (+12) with one birdie.
 
Tomorrow's final round has been moved up due to potential weather in the late afternoon, and the Lakers will tee off starting at 9:20, as they will play with Howard University and Air Force.
