ALLENDALE – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team clinched an at-large bid into the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament announced Monday (April 24) night.
The Lakers earned the number six seed and will face the number three seed Southwest Baptist this week Friday (April 28) at 3:00 PM on the campus of Wayne State in Detroit. GVSU is making their 13
th NCAA postseason appearance in program history and second consecutive appearance. The Lakers enter NCAA postseason play with a 12-9 overall record.
Eight teams were selected to the NCAA Tournament. The eight teams representing the Midwest Region are seeded as follows:
- Indianapolis
- Wayne State
- Southwest Baptist
- Ferris State
- Tiffin
- Grand Valley State
- Drury
- McKendree
