th ranked Lakers have started the season with five consecutive road games, beginning 3-2 in those games.

GVSU is coming off their best offensive output of the season in Thursday's 19-10 win over Findlay.

Maddy Champagne, and
Hailey Crittenden all tallied hat tricks in the win. Champagne tops the team with 20 points on 13 goals and seven assists, followed closely by
Kate DeYoung, 16 points, and
Molly Bursinger with 14 points. The Lakers have been very good in the draw control circle in the young season, grabbing 79 compared to only 64 for their opponents. Champagne and Bursinger have been key parts of that success, as Champagne has 25 draw controls and Bursinger has tallied 22 of them. The Lakers have split time at the goalkeeper position between
Kaylyn Cater and
Audrey Maloney Cater has tallied 24 saves this season, while Maloney has posted a .458 save percentage.
UIndy has begun the season 6-0 and has moved into the number one spot in the IWLCA rankings. The Greyhounds have outscored their opponents 97-28 to open the season and have won 83 draw controls, 23 more than their opposition. UIndy is led by senior attacker Quinn Malcolm, who has recorded 35 points so far on 18 goals and 17 assists. Joey Fowler (25 points) and Megan Dunn (21 points) have also played big roles offensively. In the cage, Audrey Moran has played all 360 minutes, logging 32 saves and a .533 save percentage, only allowing 4.67 goals per game. This will be the 11
th all-time meeting between these two schools, with the Greyhounds holding a slight 6-4 series advantage.
