LEXINGTON, Kentucky. - The Grand Valley State women's golf team finished day two at the Findlay Spring Invite on Tuesday, March 22 in Lexington, Ky. in third place. After 54-holes, the Lakers ended the invitational carding 908 (+44).Â
Julia Sanchez and
Megan Miron moved up in the leaderboard to finish tied for ninth at nine-over par (225). Â Sanchez and Miron tallied three birdies in the third round to stay within the top 10.
Olivia Stoll tied for 17th carding 229 (+13). Stoll tallied five birdies in the third round, but was set back on the 12th hole par 3 going five-over par.
Arna Kristjansdottir finished 19th carding 231 (+15), andÂ
Paula Badino completed the team score tied for 35th scoring 23-over par (239).Â
Kay Zubkus moved up one spot on day two after going even-par on 16 holes in the third round. Zubkus ended the day in eighth place scoring eight-over par (224). Â
Martina Biancuzzo tied for 72nd carding 255 (+36).Â
The Lakers will next tee off at the WTÂ Desert Invite in Tucson, Ariz. at The Lodge at Ventana Canyon golf course on April 4-5 (36-holes) hosted by West Texas A&M.Â
