AUGUASTA, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's golf team completed play in the GLIAC Championship, finishing as the league runner-up. After winning the stroke play portion of the tournament, the Lakers fell to Ferris State in the medal match finale.

GVSU overtook the Bulldogs to take the stroke play portion of the event, winning by four strokes. The rest of the top five were SVSU, Wayne State, and Parkside.
Charlotte Goersch finished in a tie for second place, ending at +5. The sophomore shot a final round of 74 (+2) with four birdies. In sixth was
Lea Stotz, who made three birdies in her round of 71 (-1) to end at +7.
Rachael Krieger ended at +10 in a tie for 8
th after her final round of 74 with two birdies.
Evelyn Park finished in a tie for 11
th at +13, as she shot a 77 (+5) with one birdie.
Heida Rafnsdottir sank three birdies, carding a 73 (+1) to climb up to a tie for 17
th.
Ferris State took the championship match by the score of 3.5-1.5.
Lea Stotz was the lone Laker to win their match, taking it by four strokes.

Heida Rafnsdottir all dropping their matches.
