GVSU Men 13th And Women 23rd At NCAA Swim & Dive Championships

The Grand Valley State men's swimming & Diving team remained 13th at the 2022 NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships being held in Greensboro, N.C. with 46 points, while the women are 23rd in the team standings with 15 points heading into the third day of action. 
 
Senior Keegan Hawkins earned All-America honors with his sixth-place finish in the 400 IM, touching the wall in 3:51.10.
 
Oscar Saura-Armengol finished 30th in the 100 fly. Roger Miret Sala finished 21st in the 200 free (1:38.08), followed by Matt Bosch in 26th (1:38.48). 
 
The GVSU men's 400 medley relay team of Miret Sala, Hawkins, Saura-Armengo and Bosch finished 16th in a time of 3:15.60. 
 
Junior Gracyn Segard earned the third All-America honor of her career on with a fourth-place finish on the 3-meter board (450.25). 
 
Samantha Laurich finished 36th in the 400 IM with a time of 4:30.25.
 
The women's 400 medley relay team of Melina De Cort, Delaney Wihebrink, Samantha Laurich and Bianca Licari finished 19th in a time of 3:47.46.
