The opening of the 2022 Grand Valley State baseball campaign will be moved back one day to accommodate a break in the weather. The originally scheduled four-game series versus Findlay was set for Saturday (Feb. 19) and Sunday (Feb. 20). However, a cold front looks to break up and the games have been moved to Sunday and Monday (Feb. 21). The series will still be played at V.A. Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio at the originally scheduled game times. First pitch for Sunday's 9-inning opener is set for 1 p.m., with game two, which is also a 9-inning affair, set for 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one. Monday's first-pitch is set for 12 noon and will be a 9-inning contest, while the series finale will immediately follow and be a 7-inning game.
