Box Score Grand Valley State dropped a 4-3 decision to #9 Indiana Wesleyan Friday (Mar. 12) at Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness. The Lakers will next be in action Friday (Mar. 19) at the GRRF versus Ashland beginning at 10 a.m.

GVSU picked up the doubles point with Thomas Oliveira and Sebastian Arce claiming a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles, while Kushan Shah and Sean Miller added a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles. Martin Matov and Jack Dausman dropped a 6-2 decision at No. 1 doubles. 

Matov picked up a tough win at No. 1 singles (6-7, 6-4, 6-4) and Arce added a win at No. 5 singles (6-3, 6-4). Dausman dropped a 6-7, 1-6 match at No. 2 singles, Miller fell 4-6, 3-6 at No. 3 and Oliveira lost a 3-6, 2-6 decision at No. 4 singles. The match of the day came in at No. 6 singles and Ignacio Morera-Lucas dropped a grueling, three-set affair (6-7, 6-4, 10-8).
