The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dropped its Florida finale to #16 nationally-ranked Concordia College-New York by a 5-2 score. The Lakers are now 5-4 overall and will begin the GLIAC portion of its schedule. 

Martin Matov claimed a 7-6, 6-1 victory at #3 singles and Alex Lescoulie won a 3-6, 7-5, 10-7 decision at #6 singles. #1 Jack Dausman (6-2, 6-1), #2 Jack Geissler (6-2, 4-6, 10-4), #4 Sean Miller (6-2, 6-3) and #5 Ignacio Morera-Lucas (6-3, 6-3) dropped singles matches. Concordia-New York won the doubles point, but Dausman and Matov won a 6-4 affair at #1 doubles.
