Grand Valley State head men's golf coach, Gary Bissell, announced the signing of two student-athletes that will begin their careers in the fall of 2021. Ryan Chafty (Kalamazoo, Mich./Hackett) and Braden Falk (Portage, Mich./Northern) both inked with the nationally-ranked Laker men's golf program, just one year after Bissell signed the top-ranked recruiting class in the country.

"Ryan and Braden are very similar prospects," said Bissell. "They both check the box on being hyper competitive and hungry to improve. We believe these traits are going to allow them to grow and have strong impacts on our program on and off the course."

Ryan Chafty - Junior campaign was canceled...Earned all-state and First-Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors as freshman and sophomore...Team captured 2019 conference, regional and State Championship. 

Braden Falk - Junior campaign was canceled...Earned First-Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors as a freshman and sophomore...Team qualified for the State Championships as a freshman in 2018.
