Men's Golf Selected To Compete In NCAA Postseason

ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State men's golf team was one of 10 teams from the Midwest region to earn a spot in next week's superregional action. This will mark the 23rd consecutive season that the Lakers will play in the NCAA Tournament.

Hosting this year is Ferris State at the Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, Michigan. Play will begin on May seventh and go through the tenth. 10 teams from the Midwest region and 10 teams from the Central region will compete to be one of the three automatic qualifiers to the NCAA National Championships. The Lakers are the top-ranked in the Midwest region and the top ranked team in the tournament.
 
Grand Valley State is attempting to go to nationals for the first time since 2024 and the seventh time in program history. They have claimed one regional title, back in 2023. The GLIAC Champions have won six events this year, finishing as the runner-up in two more.
