The Grand Valley State men's golf team finished seventh at the Doc Spragg Invitational in Findlay, Ohio with a 54-hole score of 895. The Lakers jumped two spots with a final round 296, the fourth-best final round among all 18 teams. Wayne State finished first with an 872, followed by  Findlay (873) and Missouri-St. Louis (880). 

Charles DeLong moved up 29 spots after carding the low round of the day with a 69 and finished T-16th overall with a 221, while Nick Krueger shot a final round 73 and also finished T-16th with a 221. Drew Coble finished T-20th after a final round 76 (222), followed by Mathew Orwig who shot a 78 (234) and finished 69th. Eric Nunn rounded out the top five for the Lakers with a final round 82 (238).
