The Grand Valley State men's golf team captured the team title at the GLIAC North Championship held in Big Rapids, Mich. at Katke Golf Course with a team score of 578 (+10). Ferris State finished second (581) and Saginaw Valley State third (590). The Lakers shot an opening round 293 and were tied with Ferris State, but bettered the Bulldogs in the final round with a 285. 

Nick Krueger finished second with an even par 142. Krueger opened with a 74 (+2), but shot a final round 68 (-4) to move up eight spots. Mathew Orwig finished third with a 143 (+1) and carded a final 18 71 (-1), while Drew Coble finished sixth with a 145 (+3). Charles DeLong finished 14th with a 151 (+9), but shot a final round 73 (+1), followed by Alex Jordan who finished 19th with a 153 (+11). Eric Nunn was the top individual and finished 10th with a 148 (+6).
