GVSU hits the road for final regular season matches this weekend

The Lakers will play Indiana (PA) and Wilmington in Stow, Ohio

The Grand Valley State women's tennis team is set for its final two regular season matches this weekend, as they will play two neutral site matches against Indiana (PA) and Wilmington in Stow, Ohio on Saturday (April 6) and Sunday (April 7) at the LaTuchie Tennis Center.
 
The Lakers have won four straight matches heading into this weekend as they are ranked No. 26 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national poll and are fourth in the Midwest Region. GVSU holds a 19-4 this season as they have gone 9-2 during its spring season. During dual matches, the team is 100-29 in singles and 53-22 in doubles.
 
GVSU will face a Indiana (PA) squad who plays out of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference on Saturday at 2:45 p.m. The Crimson Hawks are 6-5 this season and have gone 36-30 in singles and 22-11 in doubles, during dual matches. The Lakers will then face Wilmington on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. as the Wildcats play out of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and hold a 10-5 overall record. During dual matches, Wilmington have gone 50-22 in singles and 26-12 in doubles.
