Lakers Set For GLIAC Tennis Tournament

GVSU enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed

The Grand Valley State men's tennis team is set for the 2019 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Tennis Tournament this weekend From Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28, at the Greater Midland Tennis Complex in Midland, Mich.
 
The Lakers are tabbed as the No. 2 seed heading into the tournament after they went 16-6 overall and 6-2 in conference play.  GVSU will face the winner of the No. 3 and No. 6 match, which is either going to be No. 3 Ferris State or No. 6 Ashland. Against GLIAC foes, GVSU went 32-16 during singles and 11-13 in doubles. 

In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, Grand Valley State sits at No. 41 in the nation poll and No. 4 in the Midwest Region.
