The Grand Valley State men's tennis won their fourth consecutive match this season after they defeated Walsh, 5-2, on Sunday evening. The Lakers are now 4-0 on the season while the Cavaliers drop to 1-9.

Grand Valley State remains perfect on the season in doubles as they once again swept doubles play and earned the important point to start off the match.
Sebastien Lescoulie and
DJ Colantone won 6-2 from the No. 1 pairing, while
Jack Geissler and
Martin Matov captured a 6-0 win from No. 2 doubles. The Lakers completed the sweep as
Jack Dausman and
Ryan Rhoades won 6-3 from the No. 3 slot.

In singles, GVSU continued their strong play as they won four out of the six matches. Walsh captured their two points after Lescouie fell 6-2, 6-3, from the No. 1 singles position, while Matov dropped a three set decision by a score of 5-7, 6-2, 1-10. The Lakers collected their next four points after Giessler won 6-4, 6-2, from the No. 2 slot as Dausman tallied another point for the team as he won in three sets with a score of 7-5, 0-6, 7-6, out of the No. 3 position. Eric Zwemer tallied two more points for GVSU as Colantone won 6-1, 6-0, from No. 5 singles and Zwemer won 7-5, 6-1, at the No. 6 position.

Grand Valley State will now head on the road for the next three weeks as they will play seven matches in Florida and an additional two more road matches before returning home on March 21, to host Hillsdale.
