The Grand Valley State men's tennis team is set for two matches this weekend as they travel to Southfield, Mich. to take on Lawrence Tech on Saturday (Feb. 23) with first serve starting at 5 p.m. before returning home on Sunday (Feb. 24) to host Walsh at the Premier Athletic & Tennis Club with a start time of 5:45 p.m.
 
The Lakers are 2-0 heading into this weekend as they have collected wins over Indiana Wesleyan and Indiana Tech last week. The team currently holds a combined 10-1 singles record and are a perfect 6-0 in doubles during dual matches, while they are 86-30 overall in singles and 36-16 in doubles on the 2018-19 season.
 
Grand Valley State will face the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils, who hold a 6-2 overall record on Saturday at 5 p.m. The Lakers then return home on Sunday for a regional match against the Walsh Cavaliers with first serve at 5:45 p.m. The Cavaliers enter the weekend with a 1-7 record.
