MIDLAND, Mich. – No. 7 seed Grand Valley State men's tennis team had their season ended on Sunday (May 3) in the Second Round of the Midwest Regional Tournament by the score of 5-2 against No. 3 seed Indianapolis (16-4). Grand Valley State, who advanced farther than any previous team had in program history, finishes the year with an overall record of 17-6.
The Lakers won two of three matches in doubles action, with GVSU flights one and two before dropping flight No. 3.

Trailing 2-1 heading into single action, the Greyhounds won the first four singles flights to earn the five points necessary to win the match.
