ORLANDO – Grand Valley State men's tennis dropped their second straight match of the season on Thursday, falling 8-1 to #4 Concordia (N.Y.) at the Sanlando Park Tennis Center. The loss puts the Lakers overall record at 5-3, and the win gives the Clippers a 3-1 record.

Alex van de Steenoven came close to picking up another win for GVSU, but they were narrowly beaten (8-6).
Francis Bertrand, recently named the GLIAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week, was the only Laker in singles action to force a tiebreaker set 6-4, 0-6, 1-0 [11-9]).
Grand Valley State looks to rebound against Otterbein at the Lake Cane Tennis Center at 7 p.m.
