ALLENDALE, Mich. - Grand Valley State captured their third straight win of the season on Saunday (Mar. 22) when they took down Findlay, 6-3, at the Ramblewood Tennis & Health Club in Grandville. Its the second consecutive GLIAC win for the Lakers, putting their record at 9-4 overall and 2-1 in the conference.
GVSU opened doubles play leading 2-1, despite dropping the No. 1 match, 8-4.

Grand Valley State locked up today's win by taking four of the six matches in singles action in straight sets. Phillips (6-0, 6-4) in the No. 2 spot, Heiniger (6-2, 6-4) in the No. 4 spot,
Bryan Hodges (6-0, 6-3) in the No. 5 spot, and
Andrew Bole (6-3, 6-3) in the No. 6 spot powered the Lakers to victory over the rival Oilers.
GVSU hosts their final non-conference opponent of the 2015 season on Wednesday (Mar. 25) when they take on Aquinas College at the Ramblewood Tennis & Health Club in Grandville at 9 p.m.
