2013: GLIAC Freshman of the Year...Second Team All-GLIAC...GLIAC All-Tournament Team...Appeared in 14 games with 11 starts...Had an 8-3 record with a 2.20 ERA, three complete games, a .235 batting average against and had a 39:9 K:BB ratio in 77.2 innings of work...Threw a nine-inning shutout against Wayne State (5/10) in the GLIAC Tournament, allowing only six hits with five strikeouts...Threw eight shutout innings against Lake Erie (4/20), allowing only four hits with four strikeouts...Had only one outing where he walked more than one batter.

High School: Prepped at Nazareth Academy (Ill.) under head coach Lee Milano...Went 5-2 as a senior with 41 strikeouts in 45 innings pitched with four saves and a 4.07 ERA...Finished with a 2.67 ERA as a junior and was named all-conference, all-area and team pitcher of the year...Helped team to regional championships as a junior and sophomore.
