2009: Appeared in 25 games, playing in 678 minutes...Recorded an assist in the 4-0 win over Northern Michigan (Sept. 18)...Played a season-high 76 minutes against Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 4)...Apart of a backline that only allowed 12 goals and recorded 16 shutouts.

2008: Appeared in all 23 games and made two starts as a sophomore...Assisted on the only goal in a 1-0 win over Saginaw Valley State (Oct. 5).

2007: Played in 14 games as a freshman at GVSU, recording one goal...Scored her goal in a 9-1 win over Findlay (Sept. 28)...Played a season-high 46 minutes against Northern Michigan (Oct. 21).

High School: Prepped at Boylan Catholic Central with head coach David Bachta...Started on the varsity team as a freshman...All-conference selection and the team MVP her sophomore year...Helped lead a defense that allowed the lowest amount of goals in the league her sophomore year...Scored two goals and notched three assists her junior season...Team was conference, regional and sectional champions her sophomore and junior years...Lost in the state IHSA quarterfinals both years...Was also a two-year member of the cross country team...Played with the Chicago Fire Jr. Soccer team.

Personal Daughter of Lee and Joni Merino...Enjoys photography, coaching youth sports and music...Majoring in physical therapy at GVSU.
