Biography

2008: Played in all 23 games for Grand Valley State, starting in seven of them...Recorded an assist in a 2-0 win over Quincy (Sept. 5).

2007: Started at defense in all 23 games for GVSU...Bloem notched her first point in a Grand Valley State uniform with an assist against Indianapolis (Sept. 7)...Added her second assist of the season against Northwood in a 7-0 victory (Oct. 12)...Played a season-high 110 minutes against Mercyhurst in the GLIAC Tournament (Nov. 11).

2006: Played and started in 19 games for Cornerstone...Scored three goals and tallied three assists for a total of nine points...Put 15 of her 36 shots on frame...Recorded an assist in her first game of the year against Trinity International (8/26)...Scored her first goal of the season against Grace (8/30).

2005: Medical Redshirt.

High School: Voted all-conference, all-area, all-district, all-region and all-state during her senior season...Was selected captain both her junior and senior years...Played club soccer for the Stingers FC.
