High School: Played at Pewamo-Westphalia High School under head coach Luke Pohl...Helped lead the Pirates to the Central Michigan Athletic Conference championship, a district title, and a regional championship in 2011-12...Also won three straight CMAC titles...Named all-conference and Class C All-Area as a senior, as well as being a team captain...Averaged 10 points and nine rebounds a game during senior season, shooting 70 percent from the field, as Pirates went 21-1 overall in 2012-13...During junior season of 2011-12, put up averages of 11 points and 10 rebounds per game; team went 25-1 as he was a Second Team All-Conference choice...Pirates went 67-3 during final three seasons...Also played four years of football at Pewamo-Westphalia, earning Class C All-State honorable mention laurels...Participated and was President of Student Athletic Council, was Vice President of Sing Club, and a member of PLANK.
