Prior to GVSU: Played two seasons at Kalamazoo Valley Community College...Earned All-Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference Honorable Mention Honors...Led team to a 50-13 overall record in her two seasons...Played in 34 games, averaging 8.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 2.2 steals her freshman year...Team won conference and regional championships and took fifth place in the national tournament her freshman season...Named to Dean's List her freshman year...Member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and earned Phi Theta Kappa honors.

High School: Prepped at Niles High School under head coach Jim Arnold...Was a three year starter and a two year captain...Tallied an 82-17 record with four district, three conference, and two regional championship titles...Was a three-time All-Division Big 16 conference selection and also earned All-State BCAM Honorable Mention...Selected to South Bend Tribune All-Area Team and Leader Publication All-Area Team twice...Earned Niles Daily Star Athlete of the Week honors five times...Set a school record her senior season with 164 assists...Third in single-season with 105 steals...Ranked in the top 10 in scoring...Won 14 varsity letters, also playing volleyball, track and soccer...Earned the Ed Weede Award for being an outstanding athlete...Was a member of Drug Free Players for four years and her high school newspaper for three years.
