Played at Homer High School for Scott Salow...Named "Mr. Baseball" in the state of Michigan in 2006...Went 15-0 with a 0.73 ERA and nearly two strikeouts per inning...Posted a career 45-1 record...Tossed nine no-hitters and four perfect games in his career...Once threw a no-hitter and a perfect game in back-to-back games as a junior...Went 17-0 with a 1.58 ERA as a junior en route to first team all-state honors...Helped Homer to two state titles and a 143-6 record in four years, including a 113-2 record over his final three years in high school...Homer set a national record with 75-straight wins from 2004 to 2005...Also served as Homer's valedictorian.
