ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State men's golf team begins their 2026-27 campaign on Monday, playing the opening round of the Folds of Honor Collegiate. The three-day, 54-hole, event is played at American Dunes Golf Course in Grand Haven.

This will be the fifth straight season that the Lakers will compete in the Folds of Honor Collegiate. Over the previous four times playing there, the Lakers finished 11^th, 14^th, 11^th, and then ninth last season. 
 
Playing this week for GVSU will be Ryan Gallagher, Maverick Conaway, Nicolas Vincent, Finley Dober, and Jack Whitmore. Gallagher and Conaway were each in the lineup last season for the Lakers at Folds. Conaway came in 28^th and Gallagher was 42^nd. Dober played in three tournaments last season, while Vincent and Whitmore will each be making their GVSU debuts.
 
Grand Valley State will tee off in round one at noon on Monday, starting on hole number one. The fourth-ranked Lakers are paired with Cincinnati and Air Force.
 
How To Follow
The tournament will be available to follow via live results through Scoreboard. Additionally, the Golf Channel will have live coverage each day as well. Monday and Tuesday, it will be 9:30 am through 12:30 pm and then again in the afternoon from 4:30 to 7:30. On Wednesday, coverage will run from 11:30-2:30, then pick up at 4:30 and run though 7:30.
