GRAND HAVEN, MICH. – The Grand Valley State men's golf team wrapped up their opening tournament of the fall, finishing 10
th at the Folds of Honor Collegiate.
Results
Georgia Tech won the tournament, followed by Notre Dame and Texas tied for second. Cincinnati finished fourth and Alabama was fifth. GVSU finished 10
th with a score of +11.
Finley Dober claimed a tie for 25
th with a score of +1, following his final round of 72 (+1) with two birdies.
Maverick Conaway also shot a 72 with two birdies to finish tied for 31
st.
Ryan Gallagher and
Nicolas Vincent tied for 40
th at six over. Gallagher also carded a 72, sinking three birdies, while Vincent made four birdies in his round of 73 (+2).
Jack Whitmore shot a 74 (+3), making a single birdie, finishing 63
rd.
