#7 Grand Valley State (41-8) will open action at the 2026 GLIAC Baseball Tournament vs. Purdue Northwest Thursday at 3 p.m. All of the action will be at UWM Field in Utica, Mich. GVSU swept a four-game series versus the Pride in the GLIAC opening series.
° GVSU has won 12 GLIAC Tournament titles and sport a mark of 58-21 in GLIAC Tournament play. The Lakers' last tourney title was 2024. GVSU won six consecutive tournaments and 17 consecutive games from 2003-2009.

Jordan Keur is in his third year as the leader of the program, posting a 114-47 (.700) record overall. Keur reached the 100-win mark faster than any other head baseball coach in Laker history (145 games). He has guided the Lakers to a GLIAC Tournament title (2024), a GLIAC regular season championship and two appearances in the NCAA Tournament. GVSU is 56-22 (.706) in GLIAC action under Keur.
° In addition to being one of the top offensive teams in the country, the Laker pitching staff has been equally impressive. GVSU is second in ERA (3.55), sixth in WHIP (1.28) and 15th in walks per 9 (3.52). The Laker offense leads the GLIAC in BA (.334), on base percentage (.436), runs (457), and slugging percentage (.510), while ranking second in hits (551).
° GVSU has outscored its opponents 185-62 in the first three innings this season and have scored 10 or more runs 20 times (19-1) and scored six or more runs 36 times (31-5). The Lakers are 34-3 when scoring first. GVSU has outscored its opponents 457-187.
