ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's lacrosse continued to extend their winning streak, pushing it up to four with an 11-8 victory over Davenport. They move their record up to 4-7 overall and a perfect 3-0 in the GLIAC.
The Lakers got off to a 3-0 lead, all goals coming from
Gracie Bancroft. DU got one back before the end of the quarter but still trailed by two. Both teams scored twice in the second quarter, making the score 5-3 GVSU at the half.
GVSU built up a 10-4 lead early in the fourth quarter, before the Panthers chipped away, getting within two goals with less than two minutes to play.
Mara Misiurewicz struck one final time for the Lakers to put the game away with 11 seconds left.
Gracie Bancroft tallied a hat trick, while
Veronica Ziemer scored twice.

Delaney Smith all scored once. Swope, LaMange,
Ella Boose,
Indira Marker,
Emerson Holthouser, and Aubrie Frazier all had one assist. Boose picked up two draw controls, while Smith and
Isabella De La Cerda each had two.
Sarah Krause picked up the win as the goalkeeper, notching seven saves and two groundballs.
Ella Boose picked up six groundballs and
Karleigh Rothe had four. Rothe also caused three turnovers, with Boose causing two.
