GRANDVILLE, Mich. – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Ferris State Saturday (Mar. 28) evening at Premier Athletic and Tennis Club. The Lakers fall to 8-5 on the season and 2-1 in the GLIAC.
GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.
Bora Bakici and
Patricio Sepulveda tallied a 6-2 win at the top doubles position.
Denys Zamaraiev and
Andreu Martin posted a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
Stephen Claassen and
Lawrence Ivanov dropped a 2-6 decision at No. 2 doubles.
In singles action,
Axel Le Ho claimed a 7-6, 7-5 straight set win at No. 4 singles.
Denys Zamaraiev fell 6-1, 6-2 at the top singles position.
Bora Bakici dropped a 6-3, 6-4 decision at No. 2 singles.
Jorge Ruiz lost 7-6, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
