MacKenzie Bisballe Voted D2CCA All-American

ALLENDALE, MICH. – Grand Valley State sophomore women's basketball player MacKenzie Bisballe was named a Third-Team All-American by D2CCA, as announced by the organization earlier this afternoon. This is the first All-American honor of Bisballe's career.
 
This season, Bisballe has played in 31 games, averaging 14.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. She is shooting 55.1% from the floor, ranking 17th in the country, connecting on 34.7% of her three-pointers. She has posted four double-doubles this season, reaching 10 or more points in 27 contests. The First-Team All-GLIAC selection has a team-high 46 blocks, while adding 45 steals. In addition to her all-conference selection, Bisballe has also earned GLIAC All-Defensive Team honors, D2CCA First-Team All-Midwest Region, and she was the GLIAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. 
 
Bisballe has played a key role in helping lead to the Lakers back to the Elite Eight and a 33-1 record. GVSU is back in action this evening, playing Carson-Newman in the national quarterfinals.
