#4 Grand Valley State and first-year head coach RJ Boudro are set for the NCAA Super Region 3 Wrestling Tournament Saturday (Feb. 28) at Findlay. Wrestling is slated to begin at 10 a.m. The top three finishers in each weight class will advance to the NCAA Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The Lakers have seven wrestlers ranked in the latest Open Mat national rankings, including five in the top 10. GVSU could have as many as eight seeded in the top three regionally. GVSU returns three 2025 all-americans in Chris Donathan (149), Josh Kenny (174) and Carter Blough (285), with Kenny also claiming the 2024 National Championship at 174. 

125 - #3 Jack Parker is 10-0, all in dual meet action, since joining the lineup in January. He has three bonus-point wins. The Bellarmine transfer is 64-37 in his career.

133 - #18 Jak Keller is 14-9 with seven bonus point wins, including five falls. 

141 - Freshman Preston Lefevre has been impressive and is 17-9 overall with 13 bonus point wins. 

149 - #1 Chris Donathan is 5-0 on the year since returning to the lineup in January. A 2025 NCAA Division II All-American, Donathan is 70-9 in his collegiate career. 

157 - Maclain Morency is 5-6 since returning to the lineup in January. 

165 - Caden Jacobs is 15-12 overall this season and has been solid as the leader at 165. 

174 - #1 Josh Kenny is 13-1 this season with seven bonus point wins. The 2024 National Champion at 174 is 64-13 in his career. 

184 - #16 Bradley Mayse is 22-10 as a redshirt freshman with key victories over ranked wrestlers. 

197 - #7 Brayden Mirjavadi is 25-8 his sophomore campaign and 46-21 in his career. Mirjavadi was a 2025 NCAA Championship qualifier. 

285 - #6 Carter Blough, a returning NCAA DII All-American, is 27-2 this season and 55-9 in his career.
