Box Score GRANDVILLE, Mich. - The No. 13 Grand Valley State men's tennis team dominated McKendree 7-0 Saturday evening. The Lakers improve to 4-1 on the season. 

GVSU swept doubles action to claim the doubles point. Bora Balici and Patricio Sepulveda claimed a 6-4 win at the top doubles position. Stephen Claassen and Lawrence Ivanov tallied a 7-5 win at No. 2 doubles. Santiago Castellanos and Denys Zamaraiev added a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles.

In singles action, Denys Zamaraiev claimed a 6-2, 6-0 straight set win at the top singles position. Bora Bakici tallied a 6-1, 7-6 straight set win at No. 2 singles. Patricio Sepulveda posted a 6-0, 6-4 straight set win at No. 3 singles. Axel Le Ho recorded a 7-6, 6-2 straight set win at No. 4 singles. Jorge Ruiz rallied to claim a 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 three-set win at No. 5 singles. Stephen Claassen added a 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 three-set win at No. 6 singles. 

GVSU will be back on the courts at home next week Friday, February 20th when they host Northwood at12:00 PM at Premier Athletic and Tennis Club.
