The premier pregame tailgate show in the country, Small School Saturday, hosted by the D1 Rejects crew will be live in Allendale this Saturday (Oct. 17) for the Anchor-Bone Classic between Grand Valley State and Ferris State from 10 am to 12:15 pm in the Laker Tailgate Town lot.Â
Â
Small School Saturday is similar to College Gameday and fans are invited to attend the live broadcast during the pregame tailgate. Similar to the Gameday show, fans are encouraged to gather behind the set, bring signs and energy to the broadcast.
Â
The D1 Rejects crew is comprised of former small school football players, several of whom played in the GLIAC during their careers. The goal of Small School Saturday is to bring the electric atmosphere of ESPN's flagship program,Â
College Gameday, to D2, D3 & NAIA schools across the country.
Â
"Being back at the Anchor-Bone this year for the show was a no-brainer," said Kobe Manzo. "Both of these teams warrant national attention and the first time for us seeing it play out in Lubbers is going to be special. I can't wait to get to Allendale this weekend."
Â
The 2-hour live program will feature game previews, highlights, interviews including Coach Wooster, and all the unique traditions and rivalries that make college football special.
Â
The stream of the show will be available onÂ
YouTube,Â
Twitter/XÂ (@D1_Rejects), theÂ
FloFootball YouTube page, and it will also be streamed on the FloSports channel available on Prime Video (same channel that the game will be on!).
