Grand Valley State and Ferris State athletics are excited to announce a new partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings, which will serve as the presenting sponsor of the Anchor-Bone Trophy, awarded annually to the winner of the football rivalry between the Lakers and Bulldogs.

The historic rivalry between Grand Valley State and Ferris State has become one of the most anticipated matchups in NCAA Division II football. With a tradition of competitive games, passionate fan bases, and national championship implications, the annual Anchor-Bone Classic has established itself as one of the premier rivalries in college football.

Through this new partnership, Buffalo Wild Wings will become a part of that tradition, with the trophy now recognized as the Anchor-Bone Trophy presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.

The Anchor-Bone Trophy has become a symbol of the competition between the two West Michigan programs. Each year, the winning team earns bragging rights and possession of the trophy until the next meeting.
